What Is Green Satoshi Token (GST)?

STEPN is the first web3 move-to-earn NFT app that lets its users equip NFT Sneakers, and move to earn Green Satoshi Token (GST) and Green Metaverse Token (GMT). Green Satoshi Token is the game token, while GMT is the governance token of STEPN. Built on the Solana blockchain, the STEPN app combines GameFi and SocialFi elements to encourage users to adopt a healthy lifestyle through exercise. 
NFT Sneakers are designed in four different fitness levels: Walker, Jogger, Runner and Trainer. The amount of GST you earn depends on which fitness level you choose. GST earnings are also affected by such factors as GPS signal and speed of movement.

To earn GST, users first need to download the STEPN app to their Apple or Android phone, then select and purchase a Sneaker with SOL tokens on the virtual marketplace. Now start moving to earn Green Satoshi Tokens. 

The Green Satoshi Token works on three Realms (networks that host a fork of STEPN): Solana Realm (Solana), BNB Realm (BNB) and APE Realm (Ethereum). Users can earn GST on any one of these networks. However, GST cannot be bridged across the three Realms.

GST Price (SOL)

The Green Satoshi Token (GST-SOL) was first listed in major crypto aggregation portals in December 2021 at around $1.55. It saw a slow but steady price increase over several months. Its first high price was only one month later, in January 2022, at $3.04. The GST price then reached almost $4 in early March, and climbed to $5.45 on April 8, 2022. By the end of April, with its listing on Coinbase, the Green Satoshi Token shot up to its highest price of $8.51.

Jerry Huang and Yawn Rong of Find Satoshi Lab are the co-founders of STEPN and the Green Satoshi Token. On October 29, 2021, STEPN won fourth place in the GameFi category at the Solana Ignition Hackathon. STEPN then launched its public beta in December 2021.
