Artist Ting Song studied the proofreading and annotation of Dunhuang dance scores for her undergraduate thesis. This time, she used NVIDIA styleGAN2 to generate a series of Mogao Cave dance music statues in patterned patches, as if in response to the regrets of her youth. Through the sampling of camel bells and Indian flutes, Mr. Jason, the musician who collaborated with the artist on the series "Supplement", wanted to recreate the rich scene of the multi-national and multi-ethnic cultural mix at the Dunhuang Pass at that time. He also used synthesizers to create a sense of holy light after the religious 'ginseng'; sampled the traditional singing of China's ethnic minorities and sliced the vocals with taiko drums and a heavy 808 bass.

With this work, the artist expresses her support for the development of music NFT artworks and hopes that with the help of IcarusArt and Mpoc, more music NFT artworks expressing ethnic cultural characteristics can be seen throughout the world.

The artist uses an adversarial generative neural network (GAN) algorithm to paint the damaged Dunhuang portraits with thousands of years of history, exploring the possibility of information technology making up for irreversible time, the love and loss of civilization. The GAN generated portraits with curly hair and deep eyes resemble tiny Johann Strauss and Beethoven, looking at the shore in the background of the algorithm. The artist also wants to express in this series: the history that is happening now is in history per se. Time is not purely linear. All that we have in the present is the result of the future.

Thousands of years old Dunhuang portraits are speckled with stars, which the artist transforms into parts of the painting, using an adversarial generative neural network algorithm to complement the painting and recreate it. The artist strives to discover the possibility of information technology making up for irreversible time, the love and loss of civilization. Perhaps tens of millions of human food, clothing, shelter and open source material for the GAN algorithm under nutrition to create vibrant colors, is a heavy cyberspace-time response to the heavy past.

The exposed stone walls of the damaged paintings are given a new meaning, and the orange and yellow splashed on them will integrate the damage into the creation itself, bringing the natural brushstrokes and the algorithmic outline into full play. The artist also wants to express in this series: the history that is happening now is in history per se. Time is not purely linear. All that we have in the present is the result of the future.
