Invalid Account

You may have entered the wrong account number, password, or server address.

1. Double-check the account number, password, and server details provided on your Bybit MT5 page.

2. Ensure that the Caps Lock key is not enabled when entering your password.

3. If you've forgotten your password, kindly follow the MT5 password reset process here.

Server Not Found

The server address is incorrect or the server is temporarily unavailable.

1. Verify that you have inputted the correct server address by checking this page.

2. Ensure that your internet connection is stable.

3. Bybit may conduct server maintenance from time to time. Be sure to check your email for any notifications regarding server maintenance

No Connection

There is poor or no internet connection which prevents the platform from connecting to the server.

1. Check your internet connection and ensure it is stable.

2. Restart your router or switch to a different network.

3. Ensure that your firewall or antivirus software is not blocking MT5.

4. You may consider typing in the IP address of the server indicated  in this guide.

Outdated Platform Version

Using an outdated version of MT5 might cause login issues.

1. Update MT5 to the latest version available from the MetaQuotes or from the Bybit’s website. 

2. Reinstall the platform if updating does not resolve the issue.

Firewall or Security Software Blocking

A security software or firewalls might block MT5 from accessing the internet.

1. Configure your firewall or antivirus to allow MT5 to access the internet.

2. Add MT5 to the list of allowed applications in your firewall or antivirus settings.

Multiple Platforms Running

Running multiple instances of MT5 or other trading platforms can cause conflicts.

1. Close all other instances of MT5 or other trading platforms.

2. Restart your computer and open only one instance of MT5.
