Please introduce yourself. Tell us where you are, what you do, and your work experience in the crypto field
Hi! My name is Jelil Halbayev , and I am based in Bucharest, Romania. I am currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Robotics and Mechatronics at the University of Bucharest. Concurrently, I am a ByBUIDLER in the Bybit EU Internship program, handling user acquisition and event operations. Previously, from January 2024 to March 2025, I was a Crypto Marketing Associate specializing in B2B outreach and community growth for early-stage startups.
Why did you choose to support Bybit?
I chose to support Bybit because it offered an incredible opportunity to drive real-world user signups and coordinate logistics for major international events. Through the ByBUIDLER program, I've had the chance to manage on-ground brand representation for high-profile events like Ski Austria 2025. It also provided me with cross-functional exposure to senior leadership - including the Head of Marketing for Regulated Markets and the EU CISO - giving me deep insight into global regulated market operations. This perfectly aligns with my goal of leveraging operational expertise to drive business growth.
Why did you enter the cryptocurrency industry field?
I entered the cryptocurrency industry because I have a strong personal interest in exploring Web3, DeFi, and blockchain technologies. I consider myself a proactive professional , and the dynamic nature of the crypto ecosystem allows me to combine my technical background in programming and system analysis with my core competencies in strategic partnerships, market research, and community building.
After joining Bybit and becoming a ByBUIDLER, how do you feel? Is there anything you would like to say to the members of the Bybit community?
Becoming a ByBUIDLER has been highly rewarding, especially since I was able to deliver measurable results by onboarding over 700 new users to the Bybit ecosystem through on-site activations and targeted engagement strategies. I also feel proud to have supported key milestones, such as the Dinamo FC x Bybit EU collaboration. To the community, I'd say: let's keep building and expanding our reach! Community growth and educational campaigns are vital to our success, and I look forward to connecting with more of you at future events.
