I’m Phoebe Peng, The PIC of #TheCryptoArk and #ByBUIDLERs.

Since landing in Dubai in September 2023 to broaden a developer community, Moledao’s footprint in the Middle East, I was immediately drawn to the concept of "#TheCryptoArk" during a visit to Bybit's headquarters. Impressed by Bybit's mission-driven approach, I felt privileged to lead this initiative starting in December. My contemplation focused on defining #TheCryptoArk's essence and what it could contribute to society.

We all understand that #TheCryptoArk points to a home and resources for the crypto community, developers, traders, and other enthusiasts. The "Ark" symbolizes a refuge and a place of protection. Undoubtedly, Bybit's vision of becoming #TheCryptoArk fundamentally aims to offer a safe and stable haven for participants navigating the restive seas of digital currency and blockchain technology.

Therefore, we envisage #TheCryptoArk as not merely as a provider of tangible spaces, like shared offices for developers and traders, but as a haven and place to learn and assess. In the future, when people mention #TheCryptoArk, their first thoughts will be of Bybit, followed by a sense of gratitude.

Now, five months since I first encountered this idea, #TheCryptoArk has made significant progress:

• Infrastructure Development: We continually provide the essential infrastructure needed for the crypto world, with Bybit emerging as the platform of choice for those looking to easily explore the opportunities therein, thanks to its secure and convenient products.

• Education and Knowledge Dissemination: We have established a crypto academy to lay a solid educational foundation for the industry, eliminating biases and encouraging more rational participation.

• Innovation and Collaboration: Through our partnerships with Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC) and the American University of Sharjah (AUS), we have successfully hosted two hackathons, supporting global entrepreneurial projects and innovative ideas from AUS students.

• Shared Spaces and Dialogue: We offer the Crypto Ark Space for free: a shared office and event space that facilitates in-depth conversations and immersive product creation. Our regular crypto roundtable events, "Let Web3 Happen in Dubai", have now been conducted five times. We've invited industry experts to delve into the hot topics and challenges within the crypto world, providing new perspectives and solutions for the industry's growth.

• The Co-Creation Platform: We have established the "ByBUIDLERs" co-building platform, inviting crypto enthusiasts from around the globe to innovate and create around Bybit.

#TheCryptoArk is more than just an idea; it represents Bybit's advocacy and commitment as a leader in the industry.

#TheCryptoArk transcends a mere concept; it embodies Bybit's leadership and dedication in the crypto arena.

Looking forward to 2024, Bybit will continue to work alongside ByBUIDLERs and various industry stakeholders to shape Crypto Ark, taking on the mission of leading the industry's development.

We eagerly anticipate witnessing with all participants how this ark, laden with hope, vision, and responsibility, will navigate the waves and pioneer a new chapter in the digital world.
