What Is Everdome (DOME)?

Everdome (DOME) is a highly realistic 3D virtual environment hosted on the BNB Chain. The project is based on the concept of the metaverse. Users can experience virtual living within the platform’s environment. They can play games, have virtual meetings, shop, socialize, purchase land plots, and, in general, conduct a wide variety of digital activities that mirror those in the physical world. In short, the Everdome environment is as close to the classic concept of the metaverse as it gets.

Everdome incorporates technology from another metaverse-related project, Metahero, a platform used for creating virtual objects through 3D scanning. By leveraging Metahero, Everdome enables highly realistic 3D features, such as avatars and NFTs.

The Everdome world is made up of various land areas called districts. Users can purchase land in the districts, with each land area represented by an NFT. Everdome’s land-based concept is quite similar to another popular metaverse environment, Decentraland (MANA).

In its marketing efforts, Everdome targets both individuals as potential dwellers of this virtual world, and brands as a platform on which those brands may advertise and sell to Everdome’s resident population.

Everdome’s native crypto token, DOME, is based on BNB Chain’s main fungible token standard, BEP-20.

DOME was launched in February 2022 at a price of slightly under $0.02. Within the first few days on the market, it shot up to $0.09, and in mid-February the token registered its all-time-high price of $0.094. This early spike in DOME’s price was likely not representative of the token’s real market potential. After its initial two weeks on the market, DOME entered a period of a multi-month downtrend.

Between mid-February and mid-September 2022, DOME’s price was broadly trending downward, with local ups and downs along the way. Around mid-September 2022, the Everdome price stabilized between $0.001 and $0.0025.

What Is DOME Used For?

DOME is used as the main cryptocurrency for trading a wide variety of digital assets on Everdome, including land and all of the other assets represented by NFTs within Everdome’s digital environment.

You can also stake and lock your DOME tokens to earn additional rewards for a period of between one and 52 weeks, with a vesting period of one year (52 weeks) from the date of claim.
